A Simple Breakfast Pizza The Family Will Love

Have you ever had breakfast pizza?

Does a simple breakfast pizza sound like something your family would like to try?

Well, I have the recipe for you right here.

I actually make a couple of breakfast pizzas almost every Sunday. My husband and teen daughters really look forward to them.

Plus, they don’t take that long to make, they are quite filling, and you can modify them for your family’s preferences.

Here is the recipe…

I buy my ingredients from Aldi but you can buy them from wherever you prefer.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Naan Flatbreads (Specially Selected Brand from Aldi)

  • 1/2 Pound of Bacon (Appleton Farms Thick Sliced Hardwood Smoked Bacon from Aldi or any kind you prefer)

  • 2 Frozen Fully Cooked Pork Sausage Patties (Breakfast Best Brand from Aldi)

  • 3 Large Eggs

  • A Splash of Half and Half or Milk

  • A Pinch of Salt

  • 3 Big Spoons of Mayonnaise

  • 2 Handfuls of Mozzarella Cheese

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with foil (you don’t have to but it makes clean up easier).

Slice the bacon and fry it until it is cooked to the crunchiness you and your family prefers. Set it aside on a plate with a paper towel (you don’t need that extra bacon grease).

Heat up the frozen sausage patties in a pan so they are no longer frozen and set them aside once they are done.

Crack 3 large eggs in a bowl and add a pinch of salt (not too much because the bacon and mayonnaise are salty too), a splash of half and half or milk and beat with a whisk or fork until combined. Scramble the eggs either in some bacon grease, butter, or olive oil (your preference) until cooked.

Lets, get the Naan Flatbread ready. Scoop about 1 1/2 big spoons of mayonnaise and spread on 1 Naan Flatbread and then repeat on the other one (you can use more or less mayo as you prefer).

Once the bacon, sausage, and eggs have cooled down enough to handle you can assemble the pizzas.

Break up the sausage (one for each pizza) and sprinkle on top of the mayonnaise. Same with the bacon and the eggs. On top of it all throw a handful of mozzarella cheese (once again you can do as much or as little cheese as you prefer)

Pop them in the oven for 15 minutes depending on your oven and once they are done let them cool down just a bit before putting them on a cutting board and slicing them up.

One pizza makes about 4 slices.

Enjoy.
