Motherhood has different seasons. I like to compare it to the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
In the Springtime of motherhood you have babies being born and your journey into motherhood begins.
You enter the Summertime of motherhood when your children enter Kindergarten and so your journey through the school years begins.
Then comes Fall. Your children change and go through puberty and young adulthood.
These seasons go by pretty fast and then one day you find yourself in the Wintertime of motherhood. Your children have grown and moved on with their life and maybe even moved out of your home. You may even find yourself becoming a grandma.
Oh how quickly the seasons of motherhood change. I am going through all of these seasons of motherhood and I just want to tell you that you are not alone in the season of motherhood you are in.
